Kamchatka Governor Vladimir Ilyukhin, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka region Valery Raenko, head of administration of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city district area Alexey Alexeev discussed plans for the redevelopment of the waterfront in the center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
"We agreed on the location of the monument of Vasily Zavoyko. It will be installed under the Nikolskaya Hill. There will be a stele of military glory city, in addition, said Vladimir Ilyukhin. -Also it is determined that we will not only remove the promenade, but also extend it along Nikolskaya Hill from the sea, up to the battery of Maksutov».
The head of the region also noted that there will be organized national and sports fields on the ground near the Kultuchnoe lake.
