In 2012 “Gasprom” is planning to start gas supply to HES-1 and three boiler stations of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy

On April 18 working meeting of the chairman, Aleksey Miller, and the governor of Kamchatskiy krai, Vladimir Ilukhin, took place in the central office of OJSC “Gasprom”.
During the meeting the way of realization of complex project of gas supply and gasifying organization was discussed.

It was noted that this year OJSC “Gasprom” will complete infrastructure development of Kshukskiy and Nijhne-Kvakchikskiy gas condensate field on the western coast of the peninsula that, in its turn, will give an opportunity to increase gas supply to consumers of Kamchatskiy krai.

In step with the development of field production operations of gasifying objects building are proceeding. Thus in 2012 by heating season it’s planned to complete building of two gas pipelines between villages and to start gas supply to HES-1 and three boiler stations of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. Building of three more gas pipelines between villages and a gas pipeline branch to Elizovo will be continued. Summary investments of “Gasprom” into development of gasification in Kamchatka in 2009-2012 will exceed 2,5 billion rubles, including 1billion rubles in the current year.  
  
Aleksey Miller and Vladimir Ilukhin stressed importance of “Gasprom” participation in social development of the region. The governor thanked the company for support in carrying out international biathlon competitions in Kamchatka. From April 11 till April 14 more than 100 sportsmen from 23 countries of the world were fighting for a Cup of “Gasprom” - Award of honored trainer of Russia Vitaliy Fatiyanov.

Besides in the framework of the program “Gasprom for children” it’s planned to allocate money for reconstruction of Kamchatskiy child recreation centre in Elizovo. Correspondent of PK was informed in the Press Service of OJSC “Gasprom”.

Cooperation agreement between OJSC “Gasprom” and the Government of Kamchatskiy krai was signed in 2009, agreement for gasification – in 2008.

In March 2012 “Gasprom” and the Government of Kamchatskiy krai approved joint program of gasification of the region for 2012-2015.

In September 2007 RF Government took a resolution of involvement of OJSC “Gasprom” in realization of the project “Gas supply of Kamchatskaya oblast. The first turn – gas supply of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy”.

In the framework of the project “Gasprom” proceeded to surface infrastructure development of Kshukskiy and Nijhne-Kvakchikskiy gas condensate fields with rated capacity of 175 million cubic meters per year, and also brought into production the first turn of Nijhne-Kvakchikskiy gas condensate field with similar capacity. In the long term it’s planned to recover 750 million cubic meters of gas per year at these gas condensate fields.

For providing gas supply to consumers of Kamchatskiy krai “Gasprom” in the shortest possible period of time built main gas pipeline “Sobolevo – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy” and brought it into production in September 2010. Length of the gas pipeline is 392 km, its capacity is 750 million cubic meters of gas per year.

The first object of gasification in Kamchatskiy krai in 2010 became HES-2 of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. For providing gas supply to HES-2 “Gasprom” built twin pipe gas line between villages, its length was 15 km from automated gas distribution station (AGDS) up to HES-2 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
