Sizing up of activity of territorial system of emergency situations’ prevention and liquidation in 2011 was made in the government of Kamchatskiy krai.
During the past years active development of material and technical basis of state firefighting system of Kamchatskiy krai goes on. During the current year 7 firefighting vehicles to the amount of 30,6 million rubles have been bought at the expense of regional budget funds (and 3 more vehicles to the amount of 15,0 million rubles will be delivered to Kamchatka till the end of the year), firefighting equipment and other property to the amount of 5 million rubles have been delivered. 6 units of firefighting and other vehicles have been delivered at the expense of federal budget. Altogether 23 new firefighting vehicles have been bought during the past three years.
Besides special technical equipment for forest protection from fires at the expense of regional budget funds to the amount of 18, million rubles have been bought.
In 2011 we began reconstruction of the regional alerting system, including tsunami alerting system. The first stage of reconstruction to the amount of 23,5 million rubles has already been made, and a new alerting system on the basis of modern digital equipment has appeared in all tsunami dangerous centers of population of Kamchatskiy krai. Next year this work will be continued, and funds in the regional budget are provided for these purposes.
The work on creation of regional and municipal reserves of material resources for emergency situations’ liquidation and implementation of measures on civil defense proceeded. During the current year the stocks of the regional reserve of material resources have been increased by more than 18,0 million rubles and are about 270,0 million rubles now. It was noticed not once that regional reserve is the best in the Far East Federal District and one of the best in Russian Federation.
