Presentation of investment opportunities of Kamchatskiy krai took place in Seoul
Presentation of investment opportunities of Kamchatskiy krai took place in South Korean capital in the premises of Korean Association of International Trading. The governor of Kamchatskiy krai Vladimir Ilukhin and the ambassador of Russia in Republic of Korea Konstantin Vnukov spoke at the opening ceremony.

Representatives of more than 80 South Korean companies came to know about opportunities for realization of joint projects and investments in the economics of Kamchatka.

“This is for the first time we are making such a presentation of our opportunities in South Korea and we really hope that it will become breakthrough, and we will be able to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with the representatives of the business world of South Korea interested in our projects. We also planned several meetings connected with the visitation of the objects of energetics, including tidal power plant”, - Vladimir Ilukhin told to ITAR-TASS.

The governor and the members of the delegation spoke about social-economic state of the region and acquainted representatives of South Korean business world with the trends of developing mutually beneficial partnership.

Represented projects of development of Kamchatskiy krai for Koreans included building of sport and tourist objects, inclusive off the trends of ecological and extreme tourism, hotels, airport, seaport buildings, free economic zone.  

Special attention was paid to the projects of energetics development including tidal power plant building, liquefied hydrogen producing plant building, development of coal, peat, natural gas, geothermal waters fields, and hydro resources.
