A new project “Poluostrov Kamchatka.TV” (https://rutube.ru/video/person/1296853/) has started on the website “Poluostrov Kamchatka” (http://www.poluostrov-kamchatka.ru/) this year.
The reporters of the website “Poluostrov Kamchatka” work on this project together with their colleagues from the popular Kamchatka television companies.
One of the novelties of the project is Kamchatka newscasts in the Koryak language. They are primarily for Koryak people, the small nation living mainly in the north Kamchatka.
The newscasts are produced by the state television company “Kamchatka”. The news bulletins not only provide Koryak people in Kamchatka and other Russian regions with relevant news in the peninsula but also contribute to the maintenance and dissemination of the Koryak culture and language.
