Kamchatka Cup of Strategy and Management has begun in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. 22 teams, consisting of government and local government workers, company managers, professors, postgraduate students and university students, take part in the contest.
Kamchatka Cup is a regional round of International Business-championship Global Management Challenge in which participants become top-managers of large companies and compete with others for the right to be the best in economic market.
Regional round of International Global Management Challenge Championship is the collaborating project of the Government of Kamchatka Kray and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. The championship is held according to international standards.
The contest is held on the base of computer business simulation (game model). Participants have to make decisions in important areas of the company: marketing, production, human resources and finances.
