The Governor of Kamchatka Krai Vladimir Iluhin took part in plenary meeting “Opening up the Russian Far East” which has become the main event of the final day of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

According to Vladimir Iluhin, the creation of Free Port in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and spreading its conditions on Elizovo territory will increase investment attractiveness of the region and its tourist potential. By estimate, due to the conditions of Free port the capacity of private investments in Kamchatka Krai will be up to 9,8 billion roubles within the next years.

At the discussion of potential investors Kamchatka Krai presented two projects: “Construction of the air terminal complex in the airport “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky”, “Mining and smelting enterprise for output and processing of Ozernovskoye gold ore deposit in Kamchatka Krai”, “Construction of complex for olericulture in hothouses” and “Construction of chicken factoryfarm “Kamchatsky broiler”. Negotiations on all this projects were successful.
