Fishing season has officially started in Kamchatka. Fishermen from the east coast of the peninsula are the first to start fishing. On the west coast fishing season starts in the middle of July. It is planned that the region will produce 154 thousand tons of fish.
During the fishing season in 2015 fishermen of Kamchatka got more than 192 thousand tons of fish. One million tons of aquatic bioresources in total were collected in 2015.
Sport fishing season also started on the entire territory of Kamchatka.
